Project summary

Deep IN WBL is dedicated to some of the current challenges in the context of Work-Based Learning: the political control and the involvement of social partners, the support for training companies, making dual forms of training more attractive, quality assurance issues and the improvement of the number of women taking part in dual forms of training.

The activities of the project are focused on comparing the different approaches of the partner countries and exchanging good practices. The final products of the project are a set of brief comparative analyses of the occupational profiles of the professional roles in work-based training programmes, the legal framework of work-based learning in partner countries, the different forms of cooperation between schools and companies as well as good practices in the promotion of women in work-based training programmes. Finally, new paths for cooperation among professionals involved in WBL will be identified to enhance further exchange among WBL stakeholders

Under the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce of Zaragoza, various organisations (chambers of commerce, vocational training centres, companies and public administrations) from 7 European countries are working together in Deep IN WBL: Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Austria, Germany and Turkey.
